“How long will it take?” I hear you ask.

I bake when I can around my work and life schedule, so I can’t really give you an estimate. It WILL take me a while to bake you bread. But hey, you get homemade bread for basically nothing! And if you wait long enough, you might forget you ordered bread, and then BAM! SURPRISE BREAD!

There are currently 26 people in line.

(Special note: If you want sourdough, that may affect your timing. Sourdough takes a long time, and it’s harder to fit into my schedule so I’ll only be able to bake for you once I get to you and I have the time. Totally feel free to request it, just keep that in mind.)

(Special note #2: I’m sorry, but I can’t do gluten-free bread. GF bread takes a lot of special ingredients that don’t get used often enough and end up going to waste. Also, all of my bread knowledge and science is based around gluten, so GF bread just… doesn’t come out right. Sorry!)

(Special note #3: I’m sorry again, but I hate bananas, like, a lot. They’re pretty much the only food that I hate so so much. Even the smell is gross to me. So I’m not gonna make you banana bread. I just don’t want bananas near me [and also I usually make an extra loaf for myself to QA the bread before I send it, and I can’t QA bread I think is gross], and it makes my house smell like bananas.)

“What does it cost?” I hear you wonder.

That’s entirely up to you! If I’m shipping bread to you, I ask that you cover shipping expenses if you’re able (usually in the range of $8-$15, depending on your location). If you want to throw in anything extra for ingredients/time/etc., it’s appreciated but certainly not necessary.

I’m not working on any kind of scale, so it can be a little expensive, plus I have to pay for hosting on this site, so there’s a suggested donation of $3 (plus shipping costs). I accept Venmo, Cashapp, Paypal, cash payments, or whatever else you might be able to think of to pay with.

(Special note #4: If you can’t afford to pay me anything or cover shipping, but still want some bread, please please let me know. Many people are generous with their donations so my bread budget has some wiggle room. I’m sure I can float you some bread.)

“I’m in!” I hear you cry.

Great. Fill out this form.

David is my camp bestie. I tell the world that my camp bestie is a professional pirate. He is the COOLEST. I’m excited to spend another wonderful camp weekend with him. HE MAKES DAMN GOOD biscuits. Even better than Jeremiah Johnson in that old western movie.

David lays out the process pretty clearly on the home page: ask for some bread; wait; enjoy! And WOW is it worth the wait! I received my bread this week and it is delicious! Thank you so much David! Outstanding!

I got to meet David at camp, and he was a gem of a person. Now I hear he makes bread? WHAT? I can’t wait to try this bread.
